Privacy Policy
We publish what the rules actually say about electrical work across the Austin metro — sourced, dated, and specific to your permit office and your utility. The work itself is carried out by electricians licensed by the state.
Last updated 12 August 2026. This policy describes what we collect, what happens to it, and what we deliberately do not do.
What is collected
Calls. We do not currently publish a phone number, so no calls are being received or recorded. When a tracked line goes live it will route through a call tracking service, calls may be recorded, and their duration, origin area code and routing will be recorded so that the contractor who receives the introduction can be identified. This section will be updated on the day that changes, and if you do not want to be recorded you will be able to say so at the start of the call.
Form submissions. When the contact form is enabled it will collect the name, phone number, email address, property city and description you enter, plus the time of submission. Nothing else is captured from the page.
Analytics. Aggregate page views and referring sources. No advertising pixels, no cross-site trackers, no profile building.
What happens to it
Contact details you provide are passed to one independent electrical contractor so they can respond to you. They are not sold, and they are not distributed to a panel of buyers who then compete for your attention.
Once your details are with a contractor, that contractor's own privacy practices apply to what they do with them. Ask them directly if that matters to you.
What is not done
- No sale of personal information.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels.
- No newsletter sign-up, and no marketing email from this site.
- No attempt to identify you across other websites.
Retention and deletion
Call records and form submissions are kept only as long as needed to administer the introduction and resolve any dispute about it. To ask what is held about you, or to have it deleted, use the contact page and say so — the request will be actioned rather than routed into a queue.
Cookies and edge services
We set no advertising cookies. The site is served as static files from a content delivery network, which processes request metadata such as IP address in order to deliver the page and protect the service.
Pre-launch note, kept visible deliberately: before this site goes live, the bytes actually served must be compared against this section. A sibling site's edge platform injected an analytics script that its privacy policy did not mention — the policy was accurate about what the authors wrote and wrong about what visitors received. If any edge script is enabled here, this section and the content security policy are both updated before launch.
Children
We do not direct this site at children and do not knowingly collect information from them.
